VirtualStation is a virtual office for remote teams, with chat, calls, screen sharing, tasks, time tracking and AI features in one app. We release new versions every month, and every release needs careful testing before it reaches our customers.
This role is for someone at the start of their career who enjoys finding problems before users do. You will learn testing on a live product, work next to experienced engineers, and grow quickly with real responsibility.
What you will do
- Test new features and bug fixes on our web, desktop and mobile apps.
- Write and run test cases, and keep them up to date as the product changes.
- Report bugs clearly with steps to reproduce, screenshots or screen recordings.
- Help with regression testing before each monthly release.
- Try the product the way real teams use it, and share ideas that make it easier to use.
- Learn test automation step by step with guidance from the team.
What you bring
- A degree in computer science, IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Final year students are welcome to apply.
- A basic understanding of the software development life cycle and testing concepts.
- Attention to detail. You notice when something looks or behaves slightly wrong.
- Good written English, so your bug reports are easy to follow.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new tools quickly.
Nice to have
- An internship, college project or course in software testing.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, SQL, or a programming language such as JavaScript or Python.
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, Jira or browser developer tools.
